Engineers Training Contents
Course Format
The courses consist of lectures, and mainly exercises. Finally a research project proposal. These proposals could be made from a very technical point of view or a joint proposal. Contents and lecture exercises will be provided through the e-learning platforms of the MACbioIDI project. The details of the course can be found below. All the course work will be hosted on the private user accounts in both: Moodle and GitHub.
After the lessons, it is important to monitor the progress of the proposed activities. It is critical that students set up a private repo to upload results. Shared issues: from comment or questions to proposals or solved exercises could be common subjects to discuss.
Final Project
The main goal of the final project is to develop skills for medical imaging technology application and computational research. Methods are illustrated with examples using a wide range of images. Topics include data loading, analysis, transform and saving.
Expected Learning Outcomes:
- Learning and understand how 3D slicer and Open Anatomy work, and their philosophy
- Analyse medical imaging using 3D slicer and Open Anatomy
- Understand the use of these applications; thus be prepared to model data in both of them
- Work with sampling to solve a variety of problems
- Propose a plan to introduce these applications in the subjects they teach
- Propose research lines
