Anatomy Atlas: Open Anatomy Browser
The SPL's Anatomy Browser project brings a rich, highly detailed, hierarchical view of human anatomy to ordinary computers or workstations. In order to use it with the current atlases, there is no software installation needed, just using Java applets through the web browser, so only the Java software environment is needed (last version). We must consider that some of the atlases are quite large, and they may take several minutes to download their data over slow network connections [1].

Anatomy browser local installation
The Open Anatomy Browser has different anatomical atlases that can be viewed using web browsers. The data, therefore, can be found on a server located anywhere and accessible through the Internet or on our own computer, on local disk.
The access through Internet is done using the following link: Open Anatomy Browser. If we want to have this data on a local server or on our own computer, we must follow a number of steps that will allow us to access the atlases installed on that computer, again through browsers.
