Git & GitHub

Among the tools we use in the framework of the MACbioIDi project for software development one of the most versatile, the basis for version control is GitHub . A collaborative development platform that we use to control software versions, to document and to share projects or deliver educational or outreach content, among others.
Including it within the training program is basic because, regardless of whether each engineer has their preferences for one operating system or another, or different integrated development environments, GitHub is used by international teams of developers already working with the 3DSlicer and the OpenAnatomy applications.
