Las anotaciones son información extra relativa a ciertas partes del volumen. Hay tres tipos de anotaciones:
*ROI: acrónimo de ''Region Of Interest''. Define un prisma tridimensional y se suele utilizar para seleccionar porciones del volumen (como paso previo a segmentaciones, por ejemplo)
*Fiduciario: un marcador que define una posición en el espacio 3D, un marcador.
*Regla: para medir la distancia (lineal) entre dos puntos.
