Course Format
The courses consist of lectures, exercises and finally a research project proposal. These proposals could be developed as oint projects with engineers. The training material -theoretical contents and exercises- will be provided through the eLearning platforms of the MACbioIDI project. As divulgation contents, through the Wiki and as a blended learning course, through Moodle. The details of the course can be found below.
After the lessons, it is important to monitor the progress of the proposed activities. They will be private access contents, that the owners could share with others. All participants could send comments, make questions or proposal to any issue.
Final Project
The main goal of the final project is to develop skills for medical imaging technology application and computational research. Methods are illustrated with examples using a wide range of images. Topics include data loading, analysis, transform and saving. For this professional profile it is of great importance the practical application of these technologies in diagnosis and investigation.
Expected outcome:
- Learning and understand how 3D slicer and Open Anatomy work
- Analyse medical imaging using 3D slicer and Open Anatomy
- Understand the use of these applications; thus be prepared to model data in both of them
- Introduce these applications in the subjects they teach
- Propose research lines
