Formato del curso
The courses consist of lectures, exercises, various midterm assessments, and a research project proposal. These proposals could be made from a very technical point of view or a joint proposal Contents and lecture exercises will be provided through the e-learning platforms of the MACbioIDI project. Details on each course component can be found below. All course work will be hosted on the private user account for the professionals of the medical area and on the private GitHub for the professionals of the engineering area.
After the lessons, it is important to monitor the progress of the proposed activities. It is critical that students set up a private repo to upload results. Repos will be private but users can share with others any question or solution they consider useful. The teaching staff will be providing comments to questions, proposals or any suggested issue.
Proyecto Final
The main goal of the final project is to develop skills for medical imaging technology application and computational research. Methods are illustrated with examples using a wide range of images. Topics include data loading, analysis, transform and saving.
Resultados esperados:
- Entender cómo trabajan las aplicaciones 3DSlicer y Open Anatomy, así como su filosofía
- Analizar imágenes médicas utilizando 3DSlicer y Open Anatomy
- Comprender cómo se utilizan estas aplicaciones; por tanto, poder trabajar con modelos de datos en ambas
- Trabajar con ejemplos para resolver una amplia variedad de problemas
- Planificar cómo introducir esas aplicaciones en las asignaturas que estos ingenieros imparten
- Proponer líneas de investigación
