Presentation of the MACbioIDi project in the SMART REGIONS 2.0

Venue: Helsinki (Finland)

Date: June 1 and 2, 2017


This event provides the opportunity for national and regional authorities to share experiences on how smart specialization has been implemented in their countries and regions. As a result, more than 120 strategies have been established to shape the investments during the 2014-2020 period. Therefore, it is time to exchange experiences and reflect on how the impact of field projects can be maximized and what lessons should be extracted for the future.

In the presentation, the principal investigator expose the smart specialization and the creation of a European node of technologies for sustainable development in the Canary Islands oriented to Europe, Africa and America. This participation is the result of a personal invitation from the Commission as an expert.
