Presentation of the MACbioIDi project in the SMART REGIONS 2.0

This event provides the opportunity for national and regional authorities to share experiences on how smart specialization has been implemented in their countries and regions. As a result, more than 120 strategies have been established to shape the investments during the 2014-2020 period. Therefore, it is time to exchange experiences and reflect on how the impact of field projects can be maximized and what lessons should be extracted for the future.
Juan Ruiz Alzola, investigador principal del proyecto MACbioIDi, presenta el proyecto homónimo representando a Canarias como región invitada para compartir su experiencia sobre especialización inteligente en la Conferencia de Smart Regions 2.0.
Durante estas jornadas, en la ponencia llevada a cabo el día 1 de junio por el investigador principal de MACbioIDi, se expuso la especialización inteligente y la creación de un nodo europeo de tecnologías para el desarrollo sostenible en Canarias orientado a Europa, África y América. Esta participación es resultado de una invitación personal de la Comisión en condición de experto.
