Senegal July 2017

Presentation of the projects approved with Senegal in the first call of the MAC Program 2014-2020. Strategic Project HEXAGONE.

On this occasion, the conference took place in the Room C01 SVP of the King Fahd Palace Hotel where the projects developed in Senegalese territory or with institutions and entities of this country were presented. In total, a number of 14 projects were introduced in this working day.

The first of the conferences corresponded to Mr. Marc Boucey, Head of Cooperation of the Delegation of the European Union in Senegal, in which he presented the conclusion of MAC projects with the European Development Fund (EDF) and with other European budget lines.

Mr. Juan Ruiz Alzola’s intervention as principal investigator of the MACbioIDi project was carried out this time joined by the representative of the Cheikh Anta Diop University of Dakar. In this lecture, the activities to be developed within the MACbioIDi were highlighted as well as the expected results, highlighting those activities that will be developed by the Senegalese University during the time of the project.
