Researchers from the medical and Audiovisual Technology Group (GTMA) of the University Institute of Biomedical and Sanitary Research (IUIBS) Carlos Luque, Guillermo Socorro and Marilola Afonso participated this week in the meeting "Awakening Vocations" Organized by the Vice-rectorate for coordination and institutional projects of the ULPGC, directed by José Miguel Doña.
More than 100 class takes from the IES of the Vega de San José and the Colegio San Antonio María Claret met the facilities of the scientific technological Park of the ULPGC having their first contact with the university. This is the second consecutive year in which the ULPGC carries out this day with the objective that the future university students can know firsthand the research activity, the life in the different university campuses and the qualifications to which they can Access, as well as the new approaches they acquire.
The attending students were able to know firsthand the work that the GTMA team develops within the MACbioIDi project.
