Juan Ruiz Alzola offers a conference at the University of Valladolid (ESDUVa).

Under the title of “Strategies of intelligent specialization in Europe 2020: from political theory to its practical implementation”, the Professor of the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria @ulpgc and affiliated researcher of the Astrophysical Institute of the Canary Islands @ IAC has presented various policies strategies in the European Union (EU) and its concrete materialization in European and national calls. It will also specifically deal with smart specialization strategies, which all regions and EU member states have had to implement, as well as two concretions of these policies, one of them with a multidisciplinary integration perspective (the application of astrophysical concepts in medical technology ) and the second with a vision of development aid, in particular, the development of inclusive medical technologies carried out in the context of the Interregreg MACBIOIDI project, in which European, African and North American institutions participate.
