Dr. Col. Ibrahima Diouf, director of health of the armed forces of Senegal, visited with the director of the medical and Audiovisual Technology Group (GTMA) of the University Institute for Biomedical and Sanitary Research (IUIBS) of the ULPGC, Juan Ruiz Alzola , the laboratory of medical simulation where the manager of the laboratory, Miguel Ángel Rodríguez, showed him all the simulators with which the center works.
Later he was able to visit and know the lines of work with virtual reality and the monitoring systems used in percutaneous procedures.
The Director of health of the armed forces of Senegal was impressed with the technology used by the medical and Audiovisual Technology Group of the IUIBS and praised the benefits that this technology will bring to the training of health professionals, researchers and students from Senegal.
