Cape Verde June-July, 2017

Days of presentation of the projects approved with Green Cape in the first announcement of the Program *MAC 2014-2020. Strategic project *HEXAGONE.

In the Noble Room of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cape Verde Achada San António, 28 projects that are developed in the Cape Verdean islands were presented.

The conference was opened by Mr. Pablo Martín-Carbajal, General Director of Economic Affairs with Africa of the Government of the Canary Islands and principal beneficiary of the HEXAGONE strategic project. During his speech, the results of the first call of the MAC program of the projects approved with Cape Verde were highlighted.

On the other hand, the second day was the moment for the projects of the research, technological development and innovation axis, of which the MACbioIDi project stands out. On this occasion, the principal investigator Mr. Juan Ruiz Alzola was joined by Mr. Joao José Barros Pires, Executive Administrator of the Hospital Dr. Agostinho Neto and Ms. Idelmira Da Veiga Semedo, Physician representing the National Health Directorate of Cape Verde.

This intervention was used to emphasize the activities to be developed within the MACbioIDi as well as the expected results, highlighting those activities that will take place at the Dr. Agostinho Neto Hospital during the time of the project.
