One of the most rewarding actions developed within the MACbioIDi project is the one aimed at disseminating knowledge and information about groups that generally do not have visibility.

The Cabildo of Gran Canaria, in collaboration with the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and the Canarian Foundation for Temisas Observatory, organises these conferences, which have taken place simultaneously in three municipalities of the Gran Canaria island: Agüimes, Arucas and Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. The MACbioIDi project has been invited to participate, and María Dolores Afonso Suárez, PhD, has given a lecture in which she exposed the interesting lives and work of fourteen women who developed their career in different areas of technology. There are fourteen women from a very large group who "broke the rules".
