Este Foro se configura como un espacio para la reflexión crítica y la promoción de discusiones creativas sobre cómo podemos hacer frente a las crecientes desigualdades y lograr un desarrollo más justo y sostenible. During the visit to Praia, Mr. Juan Ruiz Alzola, Principal Investigator of the MACbioIDi project and of the Project Manager, Ms. Asmaa Skareb, formalize different work meetings taking advantage of the participation in the World Forum of Local Economic Development that took place in the Cape Verdean capital from October 17th to 20th, 2017.
The first of these meetings was held with the Vice Chancellor of the University of Praia, Sonia Victoria and the professor of the Faculty of Technology and Science, Joao Gomes seeking the collaboration of this academic institution in the tasks that MACbioIDi will develop in the islands.
El segundo de los días, fue el momento para la presentación desarrollada por D. Juan Ruiz Alzola en el Foro Mundial de Desarrollo Económico Local de las actividades que MACbioIDi desarrolla tanto en la Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria como en las diferentes sedes de los socios. Este Foro se configura como un espacio para la reflexión crítica y la promoción de discusiones creativas sobre cómo podemos hacer frente a las crecientes desigualdades y lograr un desarrollo más justo y sostenible. Por último, el día 19 de octubre, correspondió a la visita al Campus Palmarejo de la Universidad de Praia. Tras la misma, hubo tiempo para reunirse con profesores de Informática y de Medicina de la Universidad dónde se les presentó el proyecto en la Facultad de Ciencia y Tecnología.
