The delegation of scientific professionals and researchers from Africa, America and Europe participating in the 30th NA-MIC Project Week Canary 2019 visited the Elder Museum of Science and Technology in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, in the context of the activities Social and leisure programs in this international collaborative work meeting that has been held this week on the island.
With music, African dances and science, politely opened the doors of this museum for dissemination of scientific and research activity that takes place in the Canary Islands, to make known to such illustrious guests their showrooms, as are the Spaces dedicated to Cabrera and Betancourt, the culture of water and alternative energies, the charms of the spectacular cetacean area, or a privileged sky in the planetarium.
During the current week, experts from around the world have shared in the Canary Islands sustainable technological advances for biomedical research in the 30th NA-MIC Project Week 2019, a team meeting promoted by the National Alliance for medical Image Computing (NAMIC), held at the University of Las Palmas of Gran Canaria. The organizer of the local committee of the meeting is Juan Ruiz-Alzola, director of the Medical and Audiovisual Technology Group of the University Institute of Biomedical and Sanitary research of the ULPGC.
