The Galaxy and women in the technological enterprise in the III Cycle women and science

The III cycle women and Science offers today, 15 February, a double session that will take place in Las Palmas of Gran Canaria and in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

Thus, in the Casa de Colón of the Cabildo of Gran Canaria, at 19:30h, Maria del Pino Palacios Díaz, professor of Animal production of the ULPGC will depart on ' the advantages of being a woman in technology companies and science '. On the other hand, Cristina Ramos Almeida will base his speech on ' galaxies: the blocks that make up the universe ', at 18:30h at the Museum of Fine Arts in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

The III cycle of lectures ' women and science ' is developed thanks to the collaboration of the Canarian Foundation Temisas Astronomical Observatory, the researchers Association of Las Palmas, the team of the University Institute of Biomedical Research and Sanitary-IUIBS of the ULPGC, from the project MACbioIDi, and the municipalities of the different communes that participate: in Gran Canaria, Agüimes, Arucas and Las Palmas of Gran Canaria while in Tenerife they collaborate the lagoon and Santa Cruz of Tenerife.
